Whale Watching
A 3-3.5 hour adventure departing from Old harbour. We sail into Faxaflói bay in search of Minke and Humpback whales, Dolphins, Harbour porpoises and Killer whales.

Northern Lights
We are not sailing out tonight for Northern Lights Tour. Due to unfavourable weather conditions, chances of observing auroras are extremely slim.
Don’t worry, we have a back-up plan for you!
A – Our passengers are more than welcome to reschedule their reservation to another day.
B – Exchange your ticket for a Whale Watching tour.
C – Join our Backup Plan, visit the Aurora at Whales of Iceland Exhibition and keep your Northern Lights by boat ticket for the next available day. Please note that this is a non-refundable option as you keep your ticket for the Northern Lights by boat tour for another evening and is only valid for passengers who have not joined the tour previously.
Auroras at Whales of Iceland is a Northern Lights themed visit to the Whales of Iceland Exhibition.
This includes a guided tour of the exhibition, a brand new 25 minute documentary on the Northern Lights shown on a 32m2 screen, a Q&A session with if our expert guides and a complimentary welcome drink of your choice.
If you would like to join us for Auroras at Whales of Iceland tonight, please let us know before 18:00. If you choose this option, you are not eligible for a refund, but can re-book to join the boat tour for another evening.
Check in for the backup plan is at 20:30 at Special Tours office at Geirsgata 11, 101 Reykjavik.
If you have booked a pick-up with us, please be ready at your designated pick-up location at 20:00.
D – If rescheduling is not an option and you have not joined a tour before, please contact our team at info@reykjaviksailors.is or your agent to claim refund.
