Start your day on whale watching tour, departing from the Old Harbour, we will sail out to the feeding grounds in Faxaflói bay looking for Humpback whales, Minke whales, White-beaked dolphins or Harbour porpoises, as ocean is always full of surprises so we can have visits from other marine species and birds, as puffins during summer season and others worthy for bird watching.
With Funky Iceland we will take you for a walk in Reykjavik. On this tour we will visit most important places in Reykjavik, beginning from Hallgrímskirkja Church bell tower and amazing view over the city and surroundings, than we will walk through Einar Jónsson sculpture garden to City Pond and Reykjavik City Hall to see super-sized topographical map of Iceland and your guide will tell you more about geology and volcanic history.
Just few steps from city hall is Alþingi Parliament House, beautiful cathedral and the site of the first Viking homesteads.
This is not the end of the tour as we will also take a walk to Old Harbour and following the coast we will visit Volcano House for a presentation, Harpa concert Hall and Sólfarið Sculpture (Sun Voyager) amazing sculpture just by the ocean.
We are sure you will remember a lot of facts and stories about Iceland if you take part of this tour.
