Then this is the Combo that fits to you, as you will be able to make a Whale Watching trip joining us in this adventure on board and feeling yourself like a sailor.
We will take you around Fáxaflói Bay to the feeding grounds where you can see Humpback whales, Minke whales, White-beaked dolphins or Harbour porpoises in their natural habitat, also, you will see the coast line of Reykjavík from a different point of view, meanwhile the guide is explaining interesting facts about these wonderful animals.
With this trip you will have the entrance to the Aurora Reykjavik Exhibition, where you will learn everything there is to know about Northern lights.
Aurora Reykjavik Exhibition is just 10 min walk from city center and can be visited at anytime during opening hours.
Stroll through the interactive exhibition and discover history and secrets about the world’s most stunning natural phenomenon. See magnificent aurora displays captured all over Iceland and projected onto a 7-meter wide screen in 4K quality in the northern Lights Theater and get your camera ready for your unique photo of the Northern Lights: we’ll assist you with the right settings and teach you how to capture the Aurora.
Whale Watching tour:
Our ship is comfortable and warm and suits very well for Whale Watching.
There are outdoor viewing platforms and a large indoor saloon with toilet facilities and free Wi-Fi.
Snacks, soft and hot drinks and alcohol beverages available on board.
We are conveniently located at the old harbour which is downtown Reykjavik. Whale Watching tours depart at 9:00 and 13:00/14:00 from Old Harbour in Reykjavík.
If there are no sightings on the tour you can join another tour for free, on the next available day.
Please be aware that due to environmental reasons during certain times of the year Whale Watching trips may be delivered on a shared boat with one of our partners. At Reykjavik Sailors we are committed to ensuring the environment is kept pristine by making sure fewer boats are on the water during slower periods.
Please note:If you don’t see a whale, you have the option to take the tour again for free. Whale Watching is a natural activity governed by the laws of the weather. If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, the Whale Watching ticket is refunded if the tour was not joined before.
If the boat tour (part of combo) is cancelled on our behalf but purchased ticket includes the admission to Aurora Reykjavik exhibition, full price for the Aurora Reykjavik Exhibition admission will be charged and difference in prices with your combo ticket will be refunded.
